Established in 1998

American Elite Molding LLC (AEM) is America’s leading manufacturer of nylon cable ties. Located in Crestview, Florida, our 75,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility operates 24/7/365 and boasts the most advanced production processes in the U.S. AEM offers an extensive line of cable ties in a variety of lengths, tensile strengths, and colors, plus accessories such as mounting pads and cable clamps. American Elite Molding’s specialty products include EZ- Off™ ties, releasable ties, custom-printed ties, and HVAC duct straps. All cable ties use virgin nylon 6/6 to guarantee superior quality and are UL Listed and Mil-Spec approved, including UL 62275 Type 21S. AEM maintains a full inventory of all cable ties for Just-in-Time delivery from one of four stocking locations to our national distributor network. Robert Sires

CEO and Founder

Robert is an entrepreneur and founder/majority owner of several major corporations, including American Elite Molding, Buy Cable Ties, a $5M company that sells zip ties and accessories online; and Technology Plastics, a $5M custom molding company. He founded American Elite Molding in 1998.

He is also a board member, and former President, of Unipharm, Inc., a U.S.-based vitamin and supplement manufacturer that holds the #1 market share in Russia, Poland, and Ukraine. He joined the company in 2008, and under his leadership sales have doubled, earnings have quadrupled, administrative costs have been reduced by more than $5 million annually, and gross margins increased by more than 5 percent.

Previously, he served as Vice President of Operations/Finance at Leeds and Northrup, an international manufacturing operation, where he successfully oversaw 150 staff members and coordination of a $50M company restructuring of the manufacturing and financial organizations. After that, he became President of Leach Holding, responsible for operations in the U.S., Europe, and Mexico, and guided the company to becoming profitable for the first time in 4 years.

Robert is also an early investor in several ventures, including Wheels Up, Chopt, Locker Room Talk, and Verde Life. His primary strength is his ability to set and deliver on successful strategies through proper use of human and financial capital.

Expedito Serrano

Chief Operating Officer

Expedito oversees most American Elite Molding departments, including Manufacturing, Maintenance, Assembly, Quality, and Shipping. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico, 28 years’ experience in plastic injection molding, and 18 years’ experience in cable ties and other nylon products. Expedito was promoted to COO in 2012, and has increased manufacturing capacity to satisfy a growth in sales from $6 million to $20 million. He has also redesigned tools with new cavitation and automation features that allow American Elite Molding to compete effectively with imported products. His hobbies include reading, travel, and some cooking.

Timothy Bagley

Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Tim was the second employee of American Elite Molding, starting in inside sales in April, 1998. He was promoted to Vice President of Sales & Marketing in 2004 when the company moved to Florida. He oversees the sales and customer service teams, including 10 direct employees, and works directly with more than 20 manufacturers’ representatives across the country. Under his leadership, American Elite Molding has experienced double digit growth year over year for the past 17 years, and sales have grown from $200,000 to over $20 million. Tim’s hobbies include boating, Harley Davidson motorcycles, and travel.
